1: Are your windows and doors compliant with Australian and New Zealand building codes?
Yes, absolutely. Our products are fully certified and compliant with the latest AU/NZ standards. Specifically, our ACG-100 Double Hung Window is certified under AS 2047:2014 (Windows and external glazed doors in buildings).
Our product compliance is audited and issued by CSi (Certification Solutions International), a JAS-ANZ accredited third-party certification body, and carries the official PAS-Mark. Furthermore, our company is a proud member of the AGWA (Australian Glass & Window Association), and our technical team holds professional certifications from the AFTI (Australian Fenestration Training Institute), ensuring that every architectural drawing and product we deliver meets the rigorous requirements of the National Construction Code (NCC).
2: What are the wind load ratings for your AS 2047 certified double hung windows?
According to our official CSi PAS-Mark Product Compliance Schedule (Test Report No. 202223081GZU-003), our ACG-100 Double Hung Window delivers exceptional structural performance under high wind loads:
Serviceability Limit State (SLS) Design Wind Pressure: 800 Pa, achieving a rating of N4 (General) / N3 (Corner windows).
Ultimate Limit State (ULS) Design Wind Pressure: 2000 Pa, ensuring the window remains structurally sound under extreme wind conditions.
These metrics prove that our double-hung windows are engineered safely for residential and commercial projects in standard to high-wind areas across Australia and New Zealand.
3: Can your windows withstand heavy coastal rain and water penetration?
Yes, our window systems are engineered with advanced drainage and premium EPDM sealing(HAIDA) to withstand severe weather.
During the official CSi laboratory testing, the ACG-100 Double Hung Window successfully passedthe Water Penetration Resistance test at 300 Pa and up to 450 Pa. It achieved an outstandingrating of N5 (Non-exposed) / N4 (Exposed) with zero water penetration occurred at the jointsduring the standard 15-minute spray test. Additionally, it maintains a high air infiltration rating with anair leakage rate as low as +4.02 L/s . m2 at + 75Pa, making it an ideal choice for rain-heavy andcoastal exposed regions.
